![]() ![]() Since there is no video in the new player yet, you can also choose Edit > Paste. If you choose Add to Selection & Scale then the video that was copied will be added to the new player, but will be compressed, or expanded, so that it is exactly as long as any selection in the new player. If you choose Add to Movie, then the video that was copied will be added to the new player as a track, and it will not be shortened in any way. Select the new player window, and choose Edit > Add to Movie or Edit > Add to Selection & Scale. Now that some video has been copied, we will add the copied video to the new video. Copy the video either with Edit > Copy, or with the appropriate keyboard shortcut. Once the portion of the video from LC.mov has been selected, it must be copied so that it can be pasted into the new video. In our case, we want all of LC.mov, so we choose Edit > Select All, as shown the next figure. Select the portion of the input video that will be put into the combined video. Open the first video that will be added to the combined video. Create a New PlayerĬreate a new QuickTime Player by choosing File > New Player, or by using the keyboard shortcut. The process is annotated below, and uses frames from the tutorial video. (In the file names, the first letter stands for Left or Right, and the second letter stands for Top, Center, or Bottom.)
